A step-by-step guide to P3pper

56. The problem

So, our main issue in the project is Alfresco › Design. You go and ask the custodian of design about it, and she tells you that the executives in the company insist that the team should wait for their input before they start designing. On the other hand, the executives never have enough time to get together and generate the input.

When there’s an issue, it’s a good idea to document it. To do so, open design and then go to its follow-ups section. Click on the Add Follow-Up Action button to create a new item.

You can describe the issue like this:

Now you can see the follow-up item in this deliverable, and all its ancestors, including the project itself.

Next, you have to brainstrom with your team and find a good solution for this problem. When you do, record it in the response field, and assign a team member as the custodian for the item, to follow-up on that and make sure it’s done.
