This page provides you with the elements and standards we recommend to use in your content when referring to P3.express.

Using uniform spelling and capitalization helps make it easier for people and machines to find the relevant content. The standard form of the name is P3.express. Any other form of spelling and capitalization (e.g., p3.express, P3.Express, P3 express, P3express, P3X, P3E, and P3) is incorrect.

Some platforms such as LinkedIn don’t accept dots in hashtags. Therefore, we can use #p3express for tagging posts. You can also add the #projectmanagement hashtag to your posts to make the context clearer.

If you really want, you can refer to P3.express as a project management method, methodology, or framework, but our preferred wording is to call it a project management system to avoid the unnecessary debates over the differences between a methodology and a framework.

P3.express is provided with a Creative Commons license which is “free”:

The most important concept is freedom, but when the word “free” is used, most people understand it as gratis and not libre. Therefore, it’s best to describe it as “libre” or “free (libre and gratis)”.

Some people call P3.express open source. While open source has similar values and rights, using the terms for non-software concepts is not acceptable, according to many. So, we encourage you to use the term libre instead.

Tagline and Slogan

What is P3.express? The official answer, which also works as a slogan, is that it’s a “minimalist project management system”. The word minimalist is key, and it implies simplicity as well as ease.

To show how this “minimalist project management system” works, P3.express uses the following slogan: easy to learn, easy to use, and easy to teach

The teaching element is not limited to what professional trainers do, but also covers the more day-to-day act of explaining to internal and external people how the project works and how they can optimize their interactions.

The P3.express logo has a default color (#227093 and ##34ace0), but the color is not part of its identity, and you can change it if you want. Here are the downloadable files:

It’s best to use the SVG file because it’s a vector format that doesn’t lose its quality when resized. Only use the PNG format if your application doesn’t support SVG.

Process diagram

The process diagram has text in it, and therefore, there are different versions of it for various languages. A download link on the bottom of all manual pages provides you with the downloadable diagram in the selected language. The English version is available here.

The following are the colors that P3.express uses:

For titles and posters, we recommend using a Sans Serif font, because it’s more suitable to the minimalist nature of P3.express.
